Today we celebrate the 8th anniversary of our partnership with French telecom operator Transatel.

What started back in 2014 as a small customer service project for “Le French Mobile” by Transatel, has transformed over the years in to servicing Transatel’s prestigious Ubigi® brand, a global mobile data service for selected car manufacturers, that enables on-board Wi-Fi and infotainment services.

What started with French, Dutch and English, has also expanded over time into a multi-lingual team of agents delivering support in 7 languages, including German, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese!

We wish to sincerely thank Transatel for their trust, and are honored to have been their preferred partner for the last 8 years! This anniversary is an example of our true partnership, and serves as motivation to keep on delivering the best possible customer experience today, and the day after tomorrow!

NewCo Communications is pleased to announce that as of November 2021, it has renewed its PCI DSS certification.

The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) certification is the most rigorous industry-recognized payment-card security standard available globally and is developed to enhance cardholder data security and to obtain the broad adoption of consistent data security measures.

To renew this certification, NewCo Communications recently underwent a stringent audit by an independent Qualified Security Assessor (QSA), to ensure that it meets industry best practices and security controls required to keep credit card data and other sensitive information safe and secure during transmission, processing and storage.

This recognition is the result of the effort and determination of the whole team that went into obtaining this crucial certification.

Protecting our partners’ payment card data is our priority, and being PCI DSS certified is the proof of that!

It is with great honor that we announce today that NewCo has been awarded a Silver medal by EcoVadis. EcoVadis is the world’s largest and most trusted provider of business sustainability ratings, so we are very pleased to receive this accolade.

EcoVadis evaluate companies on their social, ethical and environmental impact. The assessment tool and methodology is based on international sustainability standards (such as UNGC, ISO, GRI, etc.) and grades the efforts across four main pillars: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement.

We are please to see that all the efforts we have put into place over the past years, have led to this recognition. Our focus on the environment, society and most of all the well being of our employees define the way we conduct our business at NewCo Communications.

We are excited to announce that NewCo Communications has been chosen by Rods&Cones as a partner for their customer experience service activities.

Rods&Cones is a global leader in remote assistance solutions for medical environments, with headquarters in Amsterdam and Turnhout.  They offer a revolutionary new technology that enables medtech experts, assisting surgeons, medical students, and other healthcare professionals to see and communicate with surgeons working in any OR, anywhere in the world – in real-time.

As a consequence of their rapid expansion, Rods&Cones partnered as of March 2021 with NewCo Communications for product coaching, technical support, user and hospital on-boarding and other customer service demands.

NewCo will service Rods&Cones from their offices in Barcelona (Spain), currently providing  support  in 5 languages: German, Spanish, Italian, French and English.   This new project  accounts for a further internationalization of our Barcelona branch.

We are very excited to announce today the appointment of our new Site Director of NCC Casablanca, Mrs. Imane Fekhreddine.

Imane joins us from Gentis Recruitment where she held different management positions over the last 6+ years. Her broad experience will help us to further grow and deliver great value and support to our clients and partners.

Together with NewCo’s Chief Operating Officer, Gaël Morange, she will be at
the beginning of an exciting new chapter for the further expansion of NewCo’s operations in Casablanca, in synergy with our branches in Barcelona and Valencia, and as such prepare the company for an exhilarant and successful future!

NewCo Communications is pleased to announce the renewal of their sponsorship deal with the equestrian team of Dimitri Tayemans.

Dimitri has shown a strong progression over the last couple of years, and has lifted the performance of NewCo’s horses, Fanieni- A.s and Merlijn D’Exaerdethe, to a next level.

Dimitri’s passion, determination and love for the sport makes him a perfect fit to NewCo’s business were, as in horse riding, trust, precision and performance are key.

After an intense selection and auditing process, NewCo Communications is pleased to announce it has been awarded LEBARA Germany’s multilingual customer support business.

LEBARA Germany is part of the LEBARA Group, that was founded in 2001, and has developed into an established telecommunications provider in five countries in Europe.  LEBARA is specialised in “ethnic mobile communications”, a brand for people whose family members, friends and business partners are spread across several countries. LEBARA helps these people to stay connected across borders, generations and cultures.

NewCo Communications will service LEBARA Germany from its offices in Casablanca (Morocco), supporting 3 Lines of Business: General Customer Service (voice, chat, e-mail, social media), Video Identification and 2^nd Level Verification, and this in 4 languages: German, Polish, Romanian, and English.  This new project  accounts for an additional 50+ new hires who started earlier, on the 1st of October 2020.

Expansion and continuous growth (even in these difficult times) have given us the opportunity  to move to a new, state of the art building, just around the corner from our former offices!

“Our new space is completely adapted to modern office life”, states NewCo’s CEO, Marc Ternest.  “It is bright and spacious, transparent and open, just the way we approach our business” he continues.

The offices comply with the highest ISM-standards, and have next to a communal kitchen, smaller break out areas, numerous cozy training and meeting rooms… a beautiful terrace offering a 360ª view of our beloved Barcelona. We might even see our colleagues in Casablanca from up there! 🙂

We will gradually move into the new building, with occupation rates based on the recommendations of the Spanish government.  In the mean time, our work-from-home solutions will be maintained.
